If this is the first time Cornerstone will be inspecting your course, here's what we'll need to know:- The location of your course
- The type of course you have and the number of elements
- Amount of operational equipment you have (enough harnesses and helmets to outfit how many participants?)
- Date of your last inspection and a copy of your most recent inspection report
- The year your course was built and by whom
- Any anticipated repairs

Always be sure and use any challenge course operational equipment in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations.
Read and SAVE any literature that accompanies equipment purchased for use on your ropes course.

Level I
Level I is designed for the new practitioner- Full Certification Training - 40 hours
- Spotted Activities Only Training - 20 hours
- High Activities Only Training - 20 hours
- Site/System Specific Training - 8 hours
- Prior Experience Required for all Types - None
- Testing Required for all Types - Written and Practical Skills
Level II
Level II is designed for the experienced practitioner- Full Certification Training - 80 hours*
- Spotted Activities Only Training - 44 hours*
- High Activities Only Training - 44 hours*
- Site/System Specific Training - 24 hours*
- Prior Experience Required for all Types - 200 documented hours as Level I
- Testing Required for all Types - Written and Practical Skills * Hours for Level II Training include hours required for Level I plus the additional training hours required for Level II.
Challenge Course Manager (CCM)
CCM is designed for the experienced practitioner serving as manager- CCM Full Certification Training - 110 hours**
- Spotted Activities Only Training: 74 hours**
- High Activities Only Training: 74 hours**
- Site/System Specific Training: 54 hours**
- Prior Experience Required for all Types: 500 documented hours, including facilitation and management.
- Testing Required for all Types: Written and Practical Skills ** Includes hours from Level II Certification Training plus 30 additional hours of management training. 16 hours of the 30 additional hours must be specific to challenge course management.
